ABOUT DJPM
THE NEW
BLACK ELECTRIC EP
20TH ANNIVERSARY RELEASE
A Female Group of Sexy Techno Singers. The First of their kind.
I concept came from the EURYTHMICS DUO in the early 1980’S. their sound was always a part of me when I decided to pursue a Professional DJ & Music career.
I wanted to bring Sex appeal to Techno Music that I felt was missing. Something to get women more interested in the Movement or Underground Techno at the time.
Black Electric was the key to making it happen. The group launch and it was amazing how fast they were out doing show in the first week of the release.
An EP was released with an Album some to come a few months later. Unfortunately the members were not able to pursue a professional career do to personal reasons and the group dissolved in 2002.
I tried for year to put another group together, but Techno was not yet a mainstream of music and not to many women at the time were interested in the Detroit market.

KING B
THE NEW SOUND OF EDM with a HIP-HOP BLEND
Born in Detroit, Michigan, a shy and quiet child with a bigger than life personality. King B was introduced to music at the age of three by her Grandfather and a trip to the music instrument store. The piano caught her attention, the desire to play and the devotion to music began at that moment.
She has a love for Motown music, so much so, she learned how to play every tune of her favorite group’s songs. Soon enough, King B started writing poems, short stories while in middle school, followed by the skills to beat-box.
SHAE
Spoken Word Vocalist
A native Detroiter, Shae was always interested in music and writing. At a very young age she remembers listening to jazz, R & B and rock and roll and dancing around the house dreaming of being an entertainer. Shae was encouraged by her father to play the piano and violin.
She joined a Glee Club and church choir. It was then she traveled under the direction of her favorite Choir Director, Helen Moore.
RYAN
Rapper/Lyricist
Born in Detroit, Michigan, the youngest of a large family of four brothers, two sisters, a beautiful mother and wonderful father. He had some music influence during his younger years. Ryan’s father was a DJ in college, his brother rapped, and Ryan attended the same middle school as one of Detroit’s own, Aaliyah.
During Ryan’s high school years at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in his dorm room, he began to produce beats on his MacBook, using his GarageBand software. One day he shared his beats with his classmates. It was then he met who became a good friend, Jeremiah Wheeler, A.K.A Conflict.
KAY
Vocalist/Lyricist
Kay was Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, the oldest of four. Kay grew up in a single-parent home, with her mother Angel, who knew early on that she has a musical gift. At the tender age of two, Kay’s Aunt Robbin would encourage her to sing Detroit’s Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin’s Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Her Aunt Robbin takes the credit for Kay’s vocal abilities. Kay was always shy; singing was her safe haven. Although singing was in Kay’s blood and she graduated from Detroit School of Arts; she never imagined performing for anyone besides family
